Smoke, haze, lightning, thunder, high water levels, busted shackles and bolts, bad starters, deep holes with driveshaft snapping rocks in them, caribou, moose, mating ptarmigan, a bunny, no bears, grayling, etc.
I had lots of fun, and as soon as my bank account settles down, I will head back in again. Probably in August for moose season. Pics to follow, as soon as I get to my home computer. Thanks for the good times guys! |

We also saw porcupines, bald eagles, and swans.

somebody stuck the idea of fishing into shawns head-i HATE fish and havend fished in probly 20 yrs- so we brought a pole let him fish on the big o. heres a few pics of him fishing and the 2 graylings he caught

broke a stub shaft tryin to pull matts dead 8k burban to a camp site til we could get a starter for it.

HE WAS GETTING HUNG UP IN PLACES HE SHOULD OF WALKED. they are a good mall crawler tire or knik tire but not any goot for real wheeling here in alaska. he should of went threw this spot with no problem even with the trailer on it but couldnt get any traction with those tires. That last picture reminds me of the first year to Eureka when curtis, Rick, Mike and I all got stuck at the same time.

Man I wish I could have. I did not have any vacation though. My truck broke down in Ohio (en route from IL to MD) and I was stranded for 12 days while they fooked around getting a new tranny for it. Ford's warranty came through for me, but it sure took them long enough. I was on my way back from 2 weeks in IL with family, so I burned all my vacation time up. Maybe next year. |
