Yup, it's a pop-up camper. We'll sleep where ever Dozer lets us!! Probably put him in the overhead sleeper and we'll use the couch. More room there!

Got the valve covers off. There is some surface rust in there as well as some on the plugs. I'll get the heads off and go from there.

Opened this side first and was pretty happy with what I found. It is bored .40 over and you can still see the cross hatches in the cylinder walls.

Pulled the pan off it. There is some surface rust on the crank and more on the cam. The cam will have to be replaced.

Pulled the other head off and found JUNK! Engine needs to be rebored to get rid of the rust. It is now ballast in the back of a pick up. Oh well. Time to dig out one of my spare blocks. I'll get the crank checked, a cam ordered, and need to fine a four barrel aluminum intake a carb for it.

Turned upright. I think everything is done that needs to be done (forgot to bolt the coil on) before sticking it. I'm sure I forgot something that will have been easier to do with it on the stand.

Can't do that. Won't fit in bolted togethor. Can't remove the grills on the EB's. (another wonderful idea by Ford) Tranny is in place already and hopefully good!

It even drives now! Drove it in and out of the garage today. Even has good oil pressure!

Got the camper out of storage and back in MY garage where it belongs! I now have a two Bronco garage!!! I got a set of 35 MT's for the 66 so I swapped out the 33 AT's and put them on the camper. Looks pretty good, but will need a couple inches of lift when I get the "road worthy" issues taken care of!

Got pannels made a cut. Got the backs of them painted. I'll get them welded in when the paint is dry.

Got the door post mounted. I need to get some bolts for the hinges and the clip/nut things for holding the fender on. Then we'll see how my alignment went!

Found my vaccum leak and got the choke adjusted last week. Fires right up and runs good now! Probably have to start on the disc brakes next.

It's been kind of buried. Finally was ambitious enough to dig it out, and it got warmer out too, that helped!

Water tank and wiring. Furnace works too, but no picture of the hot air (was going to post one of the ex....)
I'm having problems with the outside light on the back of the camper. It only works intermitantly and I'm not sure why.

The light socket was a bit rusty. Cleaned it up and it works now! So much for the easy stuff. On to the disc conversion!
